Invitation to the annual general meeting - Einladung zur Jahresversammlung
Dear members of the academic mid- level faculty
We are pleased to remind you of our dedication to our duties in representing the interests of the academic mid-level staff. As we begin the New Year, we would like to start by wishing you all luck, success and funds for your projects.
VAUZ represents the interests and needs of the mid-level staff vis-à-vis the university as well as the public and plays therefore a vital role in the university life. Mid-level academic staff must meet a lot of expectations, with teaching, administration and support of the professorial research being only an example of those. Working life and research conditions bring up a lot of questions ‒ and those questions should not be left unanswered. The Association keeps an eye on our rights and obligations and works to improve the position of the non-professorial employees.
We would like to invite you to the annual general meeting of the 16th March at 12:15 in room KOL-E-13 in the main building of UZH.
The general meeting is always a special event. The upcoming co-president election and the annual reports are only one part of the program. We would like to tell you about our last year’s activity and show what we have already done and what comes next. Apero gives us the opportunity to freely chat about the university policies, young academics, research conditions and maybe even your interest in joining us. We look forward to seeing you there.
This year general meeting’s agenda:
- The election of the new co-chairman to succeed Dr. Klaus Haberkern
- The Annual Report 2011, Annual Accounts 2011, Audit Report 2011, Budget 2012 and other amendments.
- The election of the mid-level staff representative for the University commissions and boards
